Since EL panel and the driver are attached to LED shirt by velcro, before washing, EL panel and driver must be removed first. The EL panel and driver cannot be exposed to water. . .

Next, you only need to wash the t-shirt. After t-shirt is dry, reinstall EL panel and driver to t-shirt, so that light up shirts can work again.
